Rome, Ga. Child Photographer: ~{The Singing Shaws ;)}~

This is one of the MANY talented families from our church!  Nikki and her handsome boys have such a heart for God and love to tell about His LOVE! We've had this session in the works for almost two years!  LOL!!  It took a lot to get both of our schedules just so! But as they've just finished up their newest CD it was TIME to get it done. :)

I don't want to post too many, but I did want to share some of their beautiful headshots!

I told Nikki I had SO MUCH FUN working on these pictures, especially the ones of her and her youngest with that gorgeous red hair and popping blue eyes!!  A photographer's DREAM!  She's a beautiful on the inside as the outside.

So handsome, Jacob!

This fella here, Eli, was in my Sunday School class and was always such a sweet heart!

Isaac was as well, and you talking about a smooth talker!!  He'd come up to me and whisper in my ear... Mrs. Christy, I think you're pretty.  ;)  And he LOVED to draw me pictures of dragons, too!!

Rome, Ga. Promo Photographer: {Geez, Louise... Look at those Dolls}

Oh my goodness.  I had SO MUCH FUN photographing these two gorgeous gals!!  I know you'll remember Cindy Carnes from her session this past fall.  Well, let me introduce you to her partner in crime, Amy Hutchins.  Cindy and Amy are both stylist at Seven Hills Salon just off Broad Street.

You'll be seeing their beautiful faces larger than life, very soon, up on a billboard promoting their businesses.

Thanks gals for asking me to do this.  I do believe Promo sessions have become my fave! : )

So enjoy just a few from these gorgeous gals Billboard session!!

So enjoy just a few "Before's and After's".  Terisa... you look Ama-za- zing!!!

Rome, Ga. Photographer: Look at me Now ~Rhonda

Lamar Clark, of DeSoto Beauty Shoppe came to me with his plan to pull together a few professionals to put together what he's calling the "Look at me Now" makeover.  It starts in Lamar's {or Trisha's} chair.  First cutting, coloring, cutting some more, styling, and then what I like to think of as the icing on the cake... MAKE UP TIME!!! : )

Next, he walks you down to the fabulous Clothes Horse clothing store where owner, Geri, will help you pick out an outfit to fit your specific body type.

Lastly... this is the part I love... though watching the makeup go on is pretty fun for me too... I pull out my camera and do a few beauty shots of you strutting your new look!!!

The truly wonderful thing about this makeover is, not only does it polish up the outside, but it's what it does to the inside that's most impresive... it just lights them up, bringing about a glow that can't be bought in a bottle! These ladies come out of their chairs renewed inside and out.

So for this installment of Look at me Now, I'm introducing the new and improved Rhonda!!  The first "after" shot is without a doubt my all time favorite picture... maybe ever.  She was just so sassy and confident... and I LOVED IT!!!!

Rhonda... you are just gorgeous!!!

Stay tuned for the next installment of "Look at me Now"
brought to you by DeSoto Beauty Shoppe, The Clothes Horse,
AND.... Bella Faccia Photography!!!

Ciao Bella!!!

Rome, Ga. Photographer: Favorite Things Tuesday: Jessa Damaris, my awesome assistant!!

I have a confession to make... this is a Favorites Tuesday... but this is not Tuesday! = D  Actually, it's Saturday.  But next week is going to be full, Full, FULL (not to mention I caught the flu!! and have been in bed since I wrote this on Saturday! BLAH!!)  so I thought to myself, "Self if you're going to get to do this post, you better do it now!!"  So here we go...

Jessa is my oldest.  When she was little I used to introduce her as my little secretary.  She always had a way of keeping me on task or reminding me of what was going on.... she even tried to direct me to a "better" route to take to Grandmas!!  She'd say, "Momma, wouldn't it be better if we went the Walmart way and turned by that church, and...."   Yep, that's my precious... if not headstrong, Jessa!

I tend to like to keep things all in the family... and she tends to like to hang out with me at weddings, so she's been hired as my first employee and wedding assistant.

What does an assistant do, you may ask.  Well, for weddings she's one part grunt... helping me lug all my equipment around, one part, "On task" master... she makes sure that I've taken all of the "necessary" photos, and lastly, she's one part second shooter!  She has taken some awesome shots for me and I can't help but be proud of her!   Jessa also helps out with some of the larger shoots... studio and portfolio shoots, when I need more than two hands.

So on this third installment of Favorite Things Tuesday... one of my favorite things is my Jessa!!  And HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOMORROW!!!

Happy Tuesday and...
Ciao Bellas!!

Dee Taft ~Author's Headshots

Oh, what a fun morning... and afternoon, we had in the Cundiff house today!!  My Momma2, or as I lovingly call her, Aunt Ding, has written a very special book and is in the process of getting it published and asked me to do some headshots. (Now how's that for a run on sentence!! LOL!)  One lucky picture will eventually wind up on the back of her book.  You may remember, I did the front cover last year.

So, what was supposed to be a quick mini session wound up taking three hours!! LOL!!  What can I say... time flies when you're having fun!! My mom also stopped by, to help her sister get ready. And between all the laughing and flat out tom-foolery, we were able to get some beautiful shots of my beloved aunt! = )

So enjoy a few pix from our fun morning!

Ciao Bellas!!

The Beautiful Miss Alexis

I'm not sure who was more excited about me doing Alexis's headshots... she or ME!! (...and yes, I realize that's not proper English... sheesh!!)  But we had a fabulous time getting Alexis ready for the Miss Georgia Competition coming this fall!!  She had never spent much time in our fair town of Rome so she was enchanted by the beauty of downtown.  I probably walked her to death, but there was so much to do, so much to see, and so little time to do it all in!!  LOL!!

Here's just a few from our busy afternoon. Enjoy!!
And Ciao Bella's!! ; )
