Rome, Ga Child Photographer: Jude, 9 months BIG

I got the saddest message from Jude's mommy last month. She was telling me that they had moved back to their hometown in another state, BUT that they were GOING to finish up his first year with me.  Happy DAY! :)   So Friday evening, this precious family loaded the car with the kids, drove six and a half hours, to be with me on a very cold Saturday morning.  That means so much to me!!
Thank you guys for making my year!!!

Rome, Ga. Child Photographer: Kale, 6 months BIG

I am very pleased and excited to show you a few from the new studio!! AH!!!

God has been so good to this woman right here!!  I never dreamed, that, THAT dream would ever come true!!  I've still got TONS of work to do before I show you much of the studio it's self, but trust me... it's fabulous!!!

So excited to get to work with one of my favorite families again!!  Kade was teething so he wasn't his usual smiley face, but I'm sure by 9 months he'll be back to his normal charming self. ;)

Just not feeling real good. :(

I adore natural light so I am thrilled to have such a GREAT source of it all the time now!! 

So it was those windows that stole my heart about this place.  I am a GREAT lover of backlit pictures. THIS is what I had envisioned and this is what I got!!

Rome, Ga Newborn Photography: Tripp, Three months BIG!

Oh my Goodness!!  This has been such a fun session to edit!!  Tripp's smile is so contagious!  I'm sitting here, alone in my office, grinning like the Cheshire Cat! Ha!  I just had to take a break from the cuteness to share a few.

So as one of my dearest friends, Jen, says:

Rome, Ga Child Photographer: Anniston turned ONE

I'm graduating yet another one of my Bellies, Babies and Beyond babies!  And as always, it's a bittersweet moment!!

I have LOVED working with Anniston's PRECIOUS mommy and daddy so much!  They've always been so laid back and up for anything!  There's was one of my favorite maternity sessions.  It was kind of a turning point in my photography style... and I'm still lovin' it! ;)

Anniston's newborns are also one of my FAVORITE newborn sessions to date!  She slept like a DREAM!  She was so posable, and SO TINY. We were able to do so many fun things. :)  I had just started working with backdrops and cute props with Anniston as well! :)

I knew she was going to be a beautiful little girl when I met her at her newborns and when I saw Anniston again at her three months, it was confirmed. :)

We had fun playing in a garden off of Broad Street for her six months...

Always so much fun to work/play with!  Mom and dad didn't think she'd keep the glasses on, but at nine months, she was ready to start proving them wrong.  LOL! ;)

And then she was ONE!!!!!

We decided to take advantage of the fair that was in town last week!! Since Anniston wasn't impressed with her birthday cake at her party, mom just opted for a small session for her one year portraits.

That grin is too cute!!

 

I am so in love with that outfit!

Not quite tall enough to ride.... ANYTHING yet. ;)  She was waving at passersby.

Rome, Ga. Child Photographer: ~{Jude, 3 months BIG}~

This is the first time I've ever done a three month old out side! :)  I usually keep them in-studio as well as newborns, but the weather had been so NICE, that I couldn't resist!  But it really worked out great!

It never ceases to surprise me how much a child changes between their newborn session and their 3 months session.  Most of the time their little faces will fill out, getting all round and chunky.  But that wasn't the biggest change in Mr. Jude.  His biggest change was his EYES!!  When he turned those big blue eyes on me I nearly gasped from surprise.  I wanted to say, "Who is this baby and where is Jude?"  Haha!  He had VERY dark eyes at his newborns and since mom has brown eyes I assumed he'd be her only brown eyed beauty... er... handsome boy. ;)  Well I was wrong!!!  

SEE!!! Can't get over how much he looks like his big sister!!

While we were shooting these a couple popped up out of the woods from the walking trail and just oohed and aahed at Jude.  Then said that he looked like Moses in the bullrushes.  Hehe.

Seriously in love with this one!!

Oh this little boy just steals a little piece of my heart every time I have the pleasure of photographing him!!!  His beautiful sky blue eyes and that PRECIOUS SMILE!!  LOVE!! 

I can tell Mr. Wyatt is a thinker!  The way he quietly takes the world in around him. Yep... he's going to be a great thinker one of these days!!! :)

Rome, Ga. Child Photographer: ~{Carlyn the Biker "Babe"!}~

OMGoodness!!!!  I SERIOUSLY can not take the cuteness!! If I didn't share this tonight, I would seriously explode! 

When Carlyn's mom said that they'd really like to incorporate Carlyn's daddy's motorcycle into the session, I was a little stumped. At only six months old I knew we'd be lucky if she were to just sit up by herself!!!  So how on earth was I going to incorporate a motorcycle with a baby!!  As I pondered that one Jennifer (mom) asked what I thought she (Carlyn) should wear!!  Well in my mind I'm thinking DENIM... and LEATHER... bandanas!!  Biker stuff!  But I didn't figure they'd have those things just lying around their house, so I told her I though something casual... definitely some little jeans if they had any.

WELL mom went WAY beyond my expectations when she whipped out a BLACK LEATHER JACKET!!! Baby size!!  I about lost it right there!  Too stinking cute!!

Just you wait and see...

 Okay... so this first one just CRACKS ME UP!!  She looks like she's really TRYING to give me a biker's tough "look"!!  haha!!  So cute!!!

You know how I've been talking about how much I LOVE and am so inspired by contrasts!!  Well here's another example.  You take a sweet little baby girl, with her creamy pink cheeks and mix her up with some BLACK LEATHER and a HARLEY!

As I was taking pictures of Devon's bike while we were waiting for Miss Carlyn to get changed he asked me if I like motorcycles.  The question may have come from the fact that I was click,click, clicking like a mad woman.  I told him that I was no enthusiast, I just liked things that are pretty!  And that bike was gorgeous!!

Hee, hee, hee... Carlyn in daddy's saddle bag. ;)

Love this precious family!!  Did I ever mention that I did Jennifer's bridals and their wedding, too!  I love that! :)

Rockmart Child Photographer: ~{Gray, 9 months BIG}~

I had a nice little morning session with Miss Gray today!!  She was all smiles and I LOVED it!!  I ran across this first location as I was coming back from a maternity session out that way last week!  I thought to myself, Self... that would be a GREAT place to take pictures!!  Tracks to no where, with a nice curve to draw the eye in!  Yep, I likey!!  Then throw Miss Gray into the mix in her little "hot air balloon" and I can't think of anything cuter! ;)

That smirk in the one to the left is adorable!

That little  stool has been in the Cundiff family for many, MANY years!!  I pulled it into my office/prop room in hopes of somehow incorporating it in a newborn session.  In a last minute decision I grabbed it as I was walking out the door.  I'm so glad I did!  She sat so CUTELY on it like little Miss Muffet!

Rome, Ga Childhood Photography: {Hilton is 9 months BIG}

I love working with this sweet family!!  And I just got the GREATEST news this week.  I get to continue working with the family... as Hilton's aunt is expecting and has also asked me to caputer all those special moments for her and her husband as well!  So excited!!

Love the one on the right!  He cracked himself up. ;)

I love doing a babies nine month pictures in the same location as their parent's maternity pictures were taken! :)

I sure did enjoy playing with Miss Kynlee last week!!  Kynlee has been doing a little boutique modeling and her mom brought along a few items for her to model.  So cute!!!

I'm pretty sure this was the first 3 month old that has EVER fallen asleep on me!  Kylnee likes her sleeps!!

AH.... the piggy hat!  Too stinking cute!!!

This is kind of dramatic lighting for a baby, but I just love shadows across the face.  It shows the contours of those sweet cheeks so well!! :)

I could NOT believe how much Mr. Bowen had changed over three short months!!  His little face filled out into the sweetest chubby cheeks.  And his blue eyes.... absolutely gorgeous!!!
