White Chocolate Moments

Today I begin a new blog topic that I'm so excited about.  It has nothing to do with photography. There will rarely even be pictures with it.  It will be all about my White Chocolate Moments! : )

Those of you that may have never had a White Chocolate Moment may not know what I'm talking about, but hopefully with time you will come to realize that you, too, have these lusciously sweet moments in your life, you've just not yet learned how to recognize them.

Those of you that have had White Chocolate Moments are smiling just from the title because the title alone brings a sweet memory to mind.

If I had to pick a flavor for today's White Chocolate Moment, it would definitely be Peppermint White Chocolate!  For two reasons.  One... because I was actually in line ordering a Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha when it happened and Two... because it definitely had a hint of freshness in it!

My White Chocolate Moment began something like this...

I am trying VERY hard to become addicted to walking!!  Yes... walking.  I figure most addictions are always some how bad for you, so why not be addicted to something good for a change.  I've already started walking in the evenings, so this morning I decided to step it up a notch and go for the gold with a morning stroll down Broad Street. (I actually had my first craving to walk this morning... yay!)  Strolling down Broad Street always tends to put me in a state of peaceful nostalgia, so that's probably why it was so easy for me to recognize my White Chocolate Moment!!

It was after my walk, when I was feeling very peaceful and happy, that I decided to run through Starbuck's drive through for my other addiction! : )  As I was waiting in line with my window's down, a sweet little butterfly flew through my window and lit on the dashboard.  He was a pleasant enough fellow, though rather boring in color.  He was a dull brown, with little black spots on his wings.  But pleasant all the same.

A line from one of my favorite movies sprang to mind...

"Kathleen Kelly: Once I read a story about a butterfly in the subway, and today, I saw one.  It got on at 42nd, and off at 59th, where, I assume it was going to Bloomingdales to buy a hat that will turn out to be a mistake- as almost all hats are."
You've Got Mail

Well, my little traveler got in at Starbucks and decided to do a little shopping on Broad Street, so he got off on the corner of Broad and 2nd. : )  As soon as he got a whiff of fresh air and felt the sun on his wings, he soared from my car window... never to be seen or heard from again.

Ahh... see what I mean by a hint of freshness!!  I raise my grande cup of Peppermint White Mocha and say... Here's to all those White Chocolate Moment!  And thank God for them!!  Hope you have a few lusciously sweet moments today!!  I'd love to hear about some of your White Chocolate Moments!  Feel free to leave one in the comments.

HUGS!!
