Rome, Ga. Infant Photography: Mr. Maddox is Three Months Old.... oh my!

I think I may be able to be considered old now.  Did you notice how I said that... am able to be considered old, not that I am or should be concidered. = )  Just getting that straight.  Te he... but this is my second "GRAND nephew/niece" I've had the pleasure of photographing... and what a sweet heart Mr. Maddox is.

I absolutely L.O.V.E natural light photography.... (bare with me... I'll get back on topic in just a minute) ...To me it is absolute perfection!  I was highly insulted the other weekend as I was out photographing my children, when this man with a camera wrapped around his neck, came up behind me and told me I needed to turn on my flash!  Then he proceeded to tell me why he thought I should use a flash.  I was a little dumbfounded (I have always LOVED that word... and look for sentences to use it in often!) that this man was there, for one, because we were in a pretty remote location, so what did I do... I turned to him, gave him an evil eye and said, "I don't like to use a flash, thank you very much!"  ...Okay, so I left off the "thank you very much" part and my eye wasn't quite as evil as I wanted... or maybe more than I meant... who knows... but still.  Hmph!  Sorry, helpful man to whom I dissed... I just like doing things my way.

I said allllllll of that to say this... as much as I do adore natural light photography... I ALMOST equally love having little ones (and I'm talking infants) into my home based studio for some fun under the soft boxes!  But Mr. Maddox wouldn't have it!  He was patient with us for a little while, but after so long... it was so long crazy woman with the camera!  (One of these days I will have the privilege of photographing a sleeping baby... I will, I will, I WILL!! ; ) We were still able to grab some adorable shots though... so here's just a few I wanted to share with you!

So hope you enjoy and...
Ciao Bellas!

Oh... and PS.  I should mention that Mr. Maddox was in the hospital just a few days after our session, so it wasn't his fault that he wasn't in the mood to have lights flashing in his face.  Poor baby.  Glad your home now Maddox!  Great Big Hugs!!!
