Rome, Ga. Senior Photographer: Priyanka {Class of 2012 Rome High Rep}

I have been so bad at keeping up with my blog!!  I am so sorry!! September has just been a whirlwind of activity.  BUT... hopefully I'm back! : )

Priyanka is a sweet as she is beautiful!!  I enjoyed our time together talking with her and learning bits and piece about her.

Priyanka is a Rome High Senior where she's a member of many clubs, including National Honor Society and Leadership Student Council.  She's also cheered for the passed three years.

Priyanka is a girl of many talents.  She enjoys dancing, reading, drawing and painting...  OH... and Alabama Football.  She says "ROLL TIDE!!"

Along with traveling after high school, Priyanka's goal is also to attend UNC where she plans to study pediatric dentistry. Then she hopes to open a free dental clinic for children in the village where her dad grew up in India.  So with travel in her future plans, I thought we could add a bit of a "travel" theme to her session so I brought along some luggage and maps, and we set up shop at the bus station...

I'm so glad to have Priyanka representing Bella Faccia Photography at Rome High!
Thank you, Priyanka, for a wonderful afternoon!!  May all of your dreams come true!!

Dallas, Ga. Senior Photographer: Tyler {South Paulding High 2012 Senior}

I had to get up at the wee hours of the morning... aka. 6am!!! (Oh MY!!) ; ) to make it to Dallas in time for this early morning senior session.  Tyler's school schedule allows for him to sleep in. He doesn't have to report in until 2nd period, so we had to try to get an hour and a half worth of photography into about an hour!  We managed... barely!!

Photographing Tyler was absolutely inspirational.  He's the second football player I've had the privilege of photographing from South Paulding High School, and both of these guys are simply amazing teens!  The football team's motto is, "It's a God thang."  I think that speaks volumes for what's behind the character of Tyler... and Austin.

Thank you Tyler... and to Leigh, his mom, for making that early morning shoot such a fabulous time! : ) ALSO...a GREAT BIG THANKS to the football coaches who have always been so kind about letting us shoot out on the field and in the field house... and the grounds man that just opens the gates for us without asking questions... tehe. ; )

Enjoy!!
Ciao Bella and HUGS to you on this icky poo Tuesday!
Christy C

He's just a little proud of his ride! ; )  Can you blame him?

FOOTBALL!!!!
My son, Caleb, told me that these looked like they were from the movie Facing the Giants.  I like that : )

I thought I'd just add that I didn't add ANY vignette (darkening of the edges) to the photo on the right... that's how much light is radiating off those bleachers in the morning sun! Ca-Razy!

Rome, Ga Senior Photographer: Tyler {Model -Class of 2010}

It's always exciting to have the opportunity to photograph teens as they progress through high school.  I met Tyler earlier this year as I was asked to photograph him and his date for his, then, junior prom.  And now, for his Seniors!!  He's really such a sweet guy!!  Probably not something he wants spread abroad being a mean ol' football player... but I have to call them as I see them!  ; ) I seriously thought he'd be a little camera shy since I brought my two oldest daughters along to help.  I told him if he wanted I'd have them turn around!  LOL!!  He said, "No, I'm fine."  And he was!!  Great job, Tyler... you're as natural as your sister, Tori!  Mom, you should be so proud!!

So enjoy just a few from Tyler's senior session!!
Ciao Bella!!

Photographing Jennifer was such a joy!  She has such a sweet nature and gentle smile, it would be hard not to like Miss Jennifer!

She LOVES photography! : )  When I read that on her application, I was Happy, Happy, Happy!  That meant I was going to get to pull out my collection of camera's and have some fun!!!

She's also enjoys reading!  Ah... a girl after my own heart!

 (She really likes her "geek" glasses... as she calls them. ; )  So do I!

Like most girls her age, she LOVES getting lost in her music!

Dallas, Ga Senior Photographer: Justin {South Paulding Class of 2012}

Photographing Justin was a pure joy!!  He's such a sweet guy!!  And boy does he love him self some football!! When I found out we'd be shooting at the school for Justin's seniors... I WAS PHYSCHED!!  Big time!!

When I photograph a High School Senior, I realize that I'm recording some very special memories that they'll keep with them for the rest of their lives!  That's why I always tell them before hand to bring anything and everything that will remind them of their high school experience. With Justin being a football player I could think of no better place to shoot, then at the field!  We got a bonus when we were able to go into the.... field house... (My FBall players get tickled at me, because sports lingo is a foreign language to me. : )  I think those are my favorites!!!

So enjoy just a few of Justin!!!  South Paulding High, Class of 2012
Ciao Bella!

Rome, Ga Seniors Photographer: The Beautiful Nikita ~Senior 2011

This thing we call "life" really does amaze me sometimes!  How things just work out, as if planned.

Miss Nikita was the second winner in the Rome Library's Summer Reading Program.  That's not the interesting part, though.  She volunteers at the library during the summer time and happened to be volunteering at the same time I was working there, but because she worked in the Children's Department and I, the front desk, our paths never crossed... or at least I don't think so!! : /  But the interesting thing is that I didn't know any of this until after I had decided to finish up our session at the library!  So that last minute necessity turned out to be the perfect location for Nikita's Seniors.

We actually started at Opera Alley, for a little privacy while she twirled and swirled in her beautiful sari.  She told us that her family orders them straight from a lady in India. I find that fascinating.

So! I do hope you enjoy a few from the beautiful Nikita's VERY COLD senior shoot!

Ciao bellas!
