Northwest, Ga.; Rome, Ga. Photographer: ~{Another Journal Entry: Keep Your Chin Up}~

Me and my kiddos, at least the ones that are home schooled, usually try to get out of the house on Wednesday.  I shut down my computer around noon, then we head to town.  Usually our first stop is EATS!

This week my son, Caleb, got to choose the restaurant.  He'll always choose one of two.  Ryan's or Chef Chen.  See the connection there?  Big Teenage Boy + all you can eat buffets = Happy Boy!! ; )

He opted for Chinese. Of course, the best part of Chef Chen is getting to crack open your fortune cookie and read your "fortune" inside. : )  This was mine this week.

The thing I love about this fortune is that later that evening at church, our pastor preached about being down but not out. In other words, "Keep your chin up." God's still working!  So, this time, my fortune cookie was right on! And GOD is so good!

Another Journal Entry: Levi Won 3rd Place

My youngest, Levi, won third place in our district's 4-H competition.  Can you guess what category he did his project in?  If you said photography, then you said right! : )  Actually the subject was on the history of the camera.  I learned so much from his project.  It was really quite fascinating!

NEXT:  Science project and guess what he wants to do his on.... a pinhole camera.  YIKES!  This ought to be REALLY interesting. 

Congrats my sweet boy.  I know you're proud, and you know I sure am!!

Another Journal Entry: Lou and her Smarticle Particles

I had to get up at 6:30... AM... this morning.  There really aught to be a law against having to get up before the sun. ; )  But I had a really good reason.  My Lou Lou, aka. Lydia, got Student of the Month!  Woop woop. They had a special breakfast just for her... and about 10 other students. Te he!

Congratulation, sweet girl!  I'm OH so proud of you!!!

Northwest, Ga. Photographer: Another Journal Entry: {Jessa's 1st Day in Scrubs}

This is the first of the "Another Journal Entry" on the blog.  I was going to make this a "Favorite Things Tuesday" post, but really... this is more about the wonderful sequences of events I like to call... MY LIFE! : )

Today, my oldest put her scrubs on for the first time.  After two years of core classes, she finally started her program this week, in Dental Assisting. : )   I'm so proud of my Jessa.  She's so excited.  She came to me yesterday and said, "Guess what Momma.  When I graduate, I get to put letters behind my name." 

; )  Tehe.  You go, girl!!!
