Rome, Ga Child Photographer: ~{My Blue Boy... checking out a little person}~

If you know me at all, then you know I'm pretty crazy about my dog, August Blue,  I'm mean to a dorky extent.  While my friends text me pictures of their kids, I'm texting pictures of my dog!! Hey, my kids had their turn now it's his. ;) Tehehe... totally joking there... sorta.

I usually leave Auggie (for short) outside during sessions, but it was so hot and he told me he'd be a good boy, so I let him stay in. (Of course I made sure it was okay with the parents first!  What kind of photographer do you take me for! ;) For the most part he stayed in his favorite place, the stone floor by the door, but towards the end, when Carlyn started getting a little fussy he crawled his way over, slowly until he could get a good sniff! Now when I say "crawled", I meant that literally.  He'd shimmy across the floor a little, then stop, look natural, when no one said anything he'd do it again until he made it up to Carlyn.  He did wait a sec until I told him it was okay. (AFTER I MADE SURE IT WAS OKAY WITH MOM WHO WAS SITTING RIGHT THERE. Sheeh! ;)

 Mom and Dad are dog lovers too, so they had no problem with him being there. Just so sweet! First time he'd ever seen someone so small up close!

At which point he did a JUMP BACK!  Hahaha!!

PS.... not the greatest "photography work" ever, but it happened so fast, PLUS... I was dieing laughing!  Hard to hold a camera still when you laugh with your whole body!!!

PSS... many people ask how we came up with his name.  He was born in August (plus I LOVE August Rush) and he's a blue healer.  Bada, bam, bada bing.... August Blue. :)
